From the architects who design houses, to the contractors who build them, to the Realtors who sell them, and finally to the families that ultimately call them home, everyone can make cost-effective, environmentally responsible decisions to improve structural performance.  In this workshop, Barry Westbrook, CIH, CSP, PE aims to provide what has been historically lacking: sound information and practical ways to apply it.

There is a knowledge gap in the market for high performance, so-called "green" homes. As consumer demand grows, designers and builders are more inclined to incorporate more energy efficient construction methods.  But consumers and industry professionals alike must learn how to evaluate the many options competing for their attention in the green market: geothermal systems, spray foam insulation, active ventilation, tankless water heaters, and so many more. 

This workshop is practical education that enables builders and consumers to make well-founded choices when buying, building, or renovating a home.
